Website owners need not know PHP, CSS, HTML to revamp their site

Part of my job here at TopReviewShop.com is to keep the design of the site fresh looking and up-to-date with the current technology standards on the web. I have had to become familiar with technologies like PHP, CSS, mySQL, Flash and Javascript. Using these technologies effectively allows you to create a fast, flexible and great looking website. We’ll be using some of these technologies in the future (we already use quite a few of them, actually) to tweak the design of the site a bit to make it easy to use and more visually appealing. Now, I know what you are thinking ... "As an end user of gadgets, laptops and PCs - do I need to know about this stuff?"

The good news is that you don't need to know about any of these things unless you are planning to build your own website. Knowing about these technologies, and understanding how they can be utilized to design and build a website, is important only for those folks who run their own websites.

So part of my job is to keep up-to-date on the latest web design standards out there. I recently came across a site called Exclusiveweb.co.uk which specializes in web design London services. Their portfolio consists of a lot of nice looking sites that utilize all of the latest buzzwords - PHP, XHTML, CSS, Flash and so on. I checked out a few of their portfolio sites and was impressed with the quality of the design.

Bottom Line: I don't know everything about web design. Heck, I probably don't even know half of what is available today for creating and managing websites. But I do know that I will get in touch again with the folks at Exclusiveweb.co.uk for any services that I need in the future.
