Cooler Usage
The cooler is easy to transport and use in just about any situation. The Xena mini is much easier to use on a non level surface (such as your lap) than other designs. The rubber feet on the bottom grip rather well on most surfaces and can be used without deploying the hinged risers for use on your lap. On a flat surface, such as a table, you can deploy the rises for easier typing and better stability. There are two hinged tabs that open on the face of the device with round rubber pads that support the laptop and raise it slightly from the surface of the cooler. This helps allow air to flow through the fan optimizing the amount of air passing over the laptop.
The cooler is designed for use with smaller laptops with screen sizes ranging from 7" up to 15.4". However, on a flat surface we were able to use it with a 17" widescreen laptop and it felt pretty solid. We don't recommend this for a larger laptop but it did rather well considering its size. With a 14" standard screen laptop, the cooler fit perfectly and worked very well keeping the computer cool.
The fan in the cooler is extremely quiet and barely audible at all. The power draw from the USB port barely effects the laptop battery. We tested a Compaq EVO laptop by playing an MP3 playlist on continuous loop until the battery died. The first charge, without the cooler, the computer's battery lasted for 3 hours and 37 minutes and the second charge, with the cooler running from the USB port, it lasted 3 hours and 29 minutes.
The USB cable wraps neatly underneath the cooler and locks into place keeping the cable safe from mishap when the device is not in use. This also makes the cooler easy to pack away in any laptop carrying case.

The VIZO Xena mini is the absolute perfect choice for any who needs a cooler for a small sized laptop. The design is sleek and compact with nice rounded edges. Of all the laptop coolers I personally have used so far, this one is definitely the best design out of the bunch. Kudos to VIZO for an excellent prduct.
Now we just need to persuade VIZO to make a cooler exactly like this one for large laptops from 17" to 22"... and maybe throw in some extra USB ports, too.
Pros: Compact design, rounded edges, uses USB power, low power draw, quiet fan.
Cons: Only designed for laptops up to 15.4", no extra USB ports.
