SanDisk Updates Clip MP3 Player with microSD slot

SanDisk's popular Sansa Clip flash-based MP3 player has been upgraded with a microSD slot, and a slightly different name - the Clip+. The Sansa Clip+ features an added microSD storage slot that allows you to use the slotRadio and slotMusic cards from SanDisk, as well as any other microSD card loaded with your own favorite MP3 songs. The microSD slot supports up to 16GB of external memory.
For those who don't remember what slotMusic is, check out our slotMusic summary post.
The Clip+ does not offer many other upgrades, but packs a fairly impressive list of features for such a small MP3 player - with an FM radio, 2GB to 8GB of storage, a wearable clip, built-in microphone, up to 15 hours of battery life and a one-inch OLED screen.
The Sansa Clip+ is available at sandisk.com and bestbuy.com starting today and at other retailers on Sept. 13. The 2GB player costs $40, the 4GB is $50, and the 8GB is $70.
