As with most things in life, there is a compromise with choosing a netbook over a standard sized laptop - but for once it’s a compromise that we don’t mind making. Netbooks won’t play games, you can’t really use power hungry applications, they don’t have a lot of memory or storage and no built in media drives. They aren’t designed to do any of those things though, and neither do they pretend to. For the first time in a while, you actually get what you pay for in an straightforward and honest way.

As with all PCs on the market nowadays, there are a myriad of ways to configure the hardware. To keep things simple I have left the configurations as standard with no extra hard drives, or RAM so you can get a feel for what comes straight out of the box.
