WoW Cataclysm Expansion

I am a huge fan of World Of Warcraft. Play it quite a bit and i'm wondering if anyone else plays it.

Anyway, their new expansion 'Cataclysm' is looking really good and possibly bringing in more people to their game. Mind you there are over 12 Million subscribers already so its quite a lot already.

What do you think?

I played it from more or less day one. Got bored between then and now, but always seemed to gravitate back every few months. The Deathknight was the best thing to happen to the game since launch and I rolled several of them.

I'm looking at the Cataclysm expansion, but don't have the time to play as much as I did. Plus there is Star Trek Online and Star Wars The Old Republic on the horizon, so I'm not sure I'll buy this one.

I played WoW for over 2 years and I must admit I got pretty addicted. It's a great but just seems so endless. I think the new expansion will be a great addition to the game and will bring in more players. I wonder if the just going to start going up 5 levels per expansion now until level 100 then maybe that will be the last expansion.

I agree that is is a bit never ending, but thats the whole point of the game. Its not really supposed to end The great thing is that blizzard keeps adding great content every few months and thats why they are the most successful MMORPG company today.

you are probably right blupa. I guess it gives designers more time to expand WoW to new heights before level 100 arrives.

Although it is quite well known that Blizzard working on a Next-Gen MMO but no one really knows what it is about.

BTW i am in the Cataclysm beta. and its looking GOOD!!!!
