It's just a matter of time before nice LCD monitors break the sub-$100 price point. There's growing demand for these displays as replacements for old style CRT monitors, and so I think it won't be long before you can grab a nice 19" LCD for $100.

I haven't gotten the chance to see any of the new OLED displays in person. Are they pretty sweet? They are supposed to be brighter and with better black levels than the previous LCD technology?

Last, but certainly not least is the Samsung 2233SW at $179. Ok ok … it doesn’t technically fit under our “Top 5 Widescreen LCD Monitors Under $150” title, but it’s an impressive monitor and the title “Top 5 Widescreen LCD Monitors Under $179” didn’t sound nearly as snazzy.

Love that :)

I think that this is a great monitor for the price. even if it is above the $150 mark it is well worth the money.

Although, I think I will wait for the price to go down a bit more though since my 20 inch is still working perfectly.

That last one looks really nice...
Found it on Amazon for $136, refurbished.
Full 1080p on a 21.5" monitor for just $136? It's gonna be hard to find anything that beats that!
If I was in the market, I think I'd have found my match.

Yeah . for that price its a bargian. Although i do have some concerns with refurbished products. Never know if they when they might break or go wrong again.

I've bought lots of refurbished products over the years, and I don't think any of them have failed, other than from my own abuse (which would have destroyed even the brand-new equivalent).
