The 61LCX65 rear projection tv

Dear Admin, whatever your name is, I am very glad of having read your wonderful review on this tv set.

I had owned a Sony 55 or so inch rear view set back in the beginning of 2000 and at the time I thought I had the greatest tv since I have allways regarded Sony as a top of the line company and also owning other Sony audio pieces.

Forced to move to a different location I sold the Sony and I miserably returned to a regular 26" crt tv set and every time I would stop over at Circuit City, Best Buy I would go ga-ga over the new big screens, specially the DLPs, LCDs. and of course, the plasmas, but money was a very big object.

Shopping in a small plaza I found a tv repair shop and tv store and they had several big screens on display, two of them in the regular big 50" floor box, two 42" LCDs and a big 61" Panasonic just like the one you just describe here.

I swear to you that the salesman whom I bought it from, did not really now what he was selling me since he was just describing a DLP, that the unit had been refurbished and that it came with a 90 day warranty and he was asking $1,000 bucks for it.

Told him I would think about it and believe me, I did, I just fell in love with the set, so I went back several days after, he still had the tv set and we started to bargain and I finally got it for $800 plus my old tv.

Took me several hours to build a table for it, so it was not until I set it up with all connections, including an Onkyo 7.1 surround system and my DVD player and started to actually close inspect the set, that I realized that I had bought a top of the line set without even trying and feeling extremely happy to read your review and get to know for sure, that I got me a very good set.

Now, was the price right? I think so, don´t you?
