CBS announces news features for 2010 March Madness On Demand

CBS announces news features for 2010 March Madness On Demand It's that time of year again - time for March Madness. College basketball sports fans can enjoy additional features while watching the games for free online with MMOD (March Madness On Demand) this year, thanks to CBS. First let's cover the basics: The high quality video stream is still powered by Silverlight software from Microsoft, and the low quality stream will be powered by Adobe Flash. By downloading the Silverlight high-quality player, users can upgrade from the standard player (approx. 550 kb/s) to one delivering up to 1.8 mb/s of enhanced video action from the 2010 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship. Now for the upgrades. 2010 upgrades include: - Picture-in-picture highlights of other games without leaving your current game - Pull up stats in realtime, including tourney and game leaders in points, assists, rebounds and 3-pointers - An improved "Boss button," which hides the live video action on the screen and silences the audio and replaces it with a "business-like" image Source: CBS
