Altec Lansing is a familiar name to most anyone who has ever looked for computer speakers, and the VS2621 is a nice step up from the previous generation 2521 model. With an even sound signature that neither sounds shrill in the high frequencies, nor dull in the mids, the VS2621 is a great value in a 2.1 speaker package. Be careful with the subwoofer placement in your room, however, as it is a fickle 4” package that can sound tight and puncy in one location and bloated and boomy in another.
