Conclusion
Overall, the Samsung SPH-a840 is a great phone. The sleek design, internal antenna and useful voice commands really make it stand out above other cell phone choices. While it does not have all the bells and whistles of the high-end phones, I find that it meets all of my needs for everyday cell phone use. I still have yet to understand why people will pay for ring-tones and pictures on their cell phone, but this phone will allow you to do that if you are so inclined.
It does not have a lot of big drawbacks, but the few annoyances do keep this phone from getting a full 5 star rating. If it had outstanding battery life, a better way to input text and a more useful digital camera, I would not hesitate to give it a full 5 stars. To summarize - I do really like the phone and for a mid-range cell phone, it's a winner.
